Witold is certified to teach as a graduate of the Yoga Room, Berkeley’s Advanced Studies Program, at the 500-hour level. He teaches yoga in the lineage of Donald Moyer and B. K. S. Iyengar. He began his yoga practice in 1993 at the Jivamukti Yoga School and began teaching in 2000 upon completion of his 200 hour certification at the Integral Yoga Ashram in Virginia. He has studied Iyengar Yoga since 1997. He continues to study with Donald Moyer and Mary Lou Weprin. Witold Fitz-Simon has been a student of the Alexander Technique since 2007. He is certified to teach the Technique as a graduate of the American Center for the Alexander Technique’s 1600-hour, three year training program. Witold combines his practice of Iyengar Yoga, Alexander Technique, embodied anatomy and developmental movement into a mentally and physically challenging style providing the student with a calm and confidence that can be applied equally to fitness, healing and personal development. Witold came to Iyengar yoga after a knee injury forced him to adapt his usual yoga practice.
